Sausage Celebrations

If you want to support local producers this winter, then why not try switching to locally made sausages this month as part of National Sausage Week? That's right, this week is dedicated to the great British banger - and I'm sure you'll agree it's well worthy of such an accolade. There's nothing quite like good quality sausages. Whether you like them on their own, in a buttie swimming in brown sauce, as part of a good old fashioned British fry up or a in a hearty casserole as a delicious winter warmer. At Swillington Organic Farm, we are no different - we love sausages too! All of our sausages are hand made on the farm in our butchery so we have total control over the ingredients and the process. This mBritish-Sausage-Weekeans we have the freedom to be creative, and creative we most certainly are!We always like to be seasonal where possible, that's why we combine our own rare-breed and free range saddleback pork with different ingredients throughout the year to create the perfect seasonal sausage. So, if you fancy trying our tasty ‘pork and leek’ sausages or maybe our deliciously fruity ‘pork and apple’ sausages you can pick some up at our farm shop or you could even choose them as part of your monthly meatbox
