Swillington Garden Growers is our award winning community supported agriculture scheme based in the historic Georgian Walled Garden at Swillington Organic Farm.

If you are local to the farm and able to collect why not join our Garden Growers club for weekly fresh, seasonal and organic vegetables, salads and fruit?

Garden Growers subscriptions last for a year at a time and your commitment helps us plan, sow and grow a range of organic produce. By clubbing together all the members benefit from a weekly share of the harvest grown in the walled garden at less than supermarket prices for comparable organic produce.

You can even come along on a Saturday to help with the growing and get your hands dirty in the garden; children get to help out with the planting at the monthly Kids Club and if you fancy learning about bricklaying and helping to restore the handmade bricks and mortar of the walled garden you can join in with that too!

If you would like to join the Garden Growers you can join the waiting list by filling in the form at the bottom of this page.

Seasonally Produced Walled Garden Shares

Join the Swillington Garden Growers group and benefit from fresh, seasonal produce direct from the farm every week of the year. This is food that you help grow. The historic walled garden is run with the help of our members; we have regular volunteer days where you can learn to sow, plant and harvest many different fruits and vegetables. There’s a ‘Veg Vote‘ where you can choose what we grow; giving you the chance to try vegetables and salads that you won’t find in the supermarket. The veg is harvested on shop days and members collect from the farm shop, bringing their own bags which means no packaging.

We call this Community Supported Agriculture and we believe its a more sustainable and responsible way to grow great local food.
