Swillington Garden Growers

I've been a member of the scheme for over a year. It's a great way to enjoy local organic produce and to try new food. The team are really friendly and always happy to give advice.

Join the Swillington Garden Growers group and benefit from fresh, seasonal produce direct from the farm every week of the year.

This is food that you help grow. The historic walled garden is run with the help of our members; we have regular volunteer days where you can learn to sow, plant and harvest many different fruits and vegetables.

There's a 'Veg Vote' where you can choose what we grow; giving you the chance to try vegetables and salads that you won't find in the supermarket.

The veg is harvested on shop days and members collect from the shed, bringing their own bags which means no packaging.

We call this Community Supported Agriculture and we believe its a more sustainable and responsible way to grow great local food.
